Paper Play challenge-New Beginnings

I made this card for my daughter and her family for the new year. I used a card my buddy Bev, found and since we both loved it, we did it as a challenge just between us. I also wanted to fulfill the paperplay challenge for new beginnings.

Delightful Sketches challenge

http://delightfulsketches.blogspot.com/
I wanted to make New Year cards for my kids and thought this sketch would work perfect for one. I am not too fond of the way it turned out but think my grandsons will like it just fine.

Sugar Bowl challenge

http://www.sugarbowlblog.blogspot.com/

Well, I made one card with this challenge in mind but then realized I had entered it in other challenges and their rules are against that. I really need to pay more attention to what I am doing! LOL Anyway, I hurried and made another card this afternoon because I did like their sketch. I really do not have favorite colors but do enjoy working in pinks and girly things.

My first ever step card!

This is the first time I tried a step card and had lots of fun doing it. I am also entering this one in two challenges. The first on is Project Tuesday. Their challenge was to make a step card. Since I had never even heard of one before, this was a very fun project to do. Thanks for the lesson!!!

The other challenge is from Simon Says and their challenge was "Merry Christmas".

Snowman easel card

This little snowman is another wonderful Peachy Keen stamp. I also used tons of stickles and other bling to add some sparkle. I am entering this card in two challenges this week.

http://stampwithsarahkay.blogspot.com/ The challenge at Stampavie and More was "Snowman".

http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/ The challenge from Peachy Keen was a sketch.

Finally finished!

I finally finished little gift card holders for all the grandkids. As you can tell, Peachy Keen stamps are some of my favorites!!!! All the stamped images are PK. The little hole at the top of each one will be used to hang them on my tree. Am going to see just how long it takes the first kid to see them and find their own. Now if I can get the rest of my cards done tomorrow so I can get them mailed Monday, I will be one happy gal! lol

Nathan's Challenge!!!

In case you don't know....I LOVE challenges!!!! lol Well last Thursday I was leaving for a little get away with my two nieces to the Rock House! Now if you do not know what the rock house is......well you should! lol It is a two story historic home in one of our state parks here in Idaho. It is on a small island in the Snake River. My nieces, and who ever else I can convince to come with me, go here to scrap and visit and just have lots of fun. Last year we made our Christmas cards there and decided to meet again this year to make them. This time we were blessed to have two of my great nieces come play with us also and I so enjoyed them all!

Well now to get on with Nathan's challenge. I met my dd and her four sons just before heading to the island. Her 7 year old asked me if he could make up a challenge for us to do. I agreed wondering just what he had in mind. He then handed me a spool of ribbon he wanted us to use. His instructions were:
We had to use some ribbon.
We could not write our names on the front.
I had to take pictures of each one including my own.
I could not let him see my card or tell him which one I made because that would be cheating.
He would choose the card he liked best.
If the card was good enough, and he really liked it, then he might make a prize for the winner.

So, here are the entries! lol One great niece had to work so didn't get to spend the entire time with us and did not get her card made. I would love anyone posting to let me know which may be your favorite one too. Who knows, I just might give a prize to the one with the most comments!

Thanks!!!!

Summertime fun

Here is my last card for tonight for blog challenges.

http://sugarbowlblog.blogspot.com/ This was a sketch challenge and you needed to use your favorite color. I really do not have a favorite but am a little partial to pink and girly things. lol

http://charismacardz.blogspot.com/ This challenge was for anything summertime. I really had fun trying to think of something summertime as I was watching snow blowing down! But, when I saw this little Sugar Nellie, I knew I would be using her!

http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/ And this challenge just fit this stamped image too.....Girly!!!

http://ildicochallenges.blogspot.com/ This challenge helped my pick my colors for the card......Black and Bright. I love bright pink and black together so that really fit.

Christmas stocking!

I think this little stamp is so precious. She reminds me of my dd whose favorite thing at Christmas was seeing what was hiding in her stocking. This card also was made for several challenges.

http://creativecardcrew.blogspot.com/ This challenge was for a Christmas card so that was fairly easy challenge! lol
http://atsblog.typepad.com/wednesdayschallenge/ another easy one.....anything Christmas

http://stampwithsarahkay.blogspot.com/ and one more that was just Christmas

Card for many challenges!

Well, I found out with doing this challenge that I am an old fashion traditional green-red type for Christmas. This card got me way out of my comfort zone and I am not too sure I am very fond of it. lol It does qualify for many challenges tho so will post it anyway.

I used the sketch from http://trulyscrumptiouschallenges.blogspot.com/ and it was a fun sketch to do. I normally do not use too many flourishes so did have fun trying to work with the other challenges and make them fit into this sketch. I added stickles to the flourish for the bling effect.

The color choice came from Colour Create http://colourcreatechallenge.blogspot.com/
For it we were to use the colors black, white, aqua and purple or lavendar.

http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ Their challenge was for a non traditional color for your card. I figured the CCC was about as non traditional as I could get! lol

And the last challenge I am entering this card in is from My Time to Craft.

http://mytimetocraftchallenge.blogspot.com/ This challenge was for "Winter Pals" and I think this little snowbird and snowman look like they are best of buds. lol

And the last challenge this card it for is http://paperplaychallenges.blogspot.com/

Lil' Gingie baby

I just love this little stamp from Peachy Keen! This card is for the Papertake Weekly Challenge: http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/ and also for the Peachy Keen challenge this week: http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/

The PWC was a wonderful sketch that I chose to turn sideways. The PK challenge was a recipe of polka dots, stripes, border and image.

Thanks to both blogs for such fun challenges!

Mojo Monday Challenge #115

This was a fun sketch to do!!! I used my new Magnolia stamp along with lots of bling. I love the real little buttons on her dress. I popped her legs up so she is 3-D. I also gave her a little smile because she is enjoying the season. lol Thanks Mojo for another fun challenge.
